Sachs Media has earned five awards at the Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA) 2023 Golden Image Awards in Orlando, including top public affairs campaign.

The top prize came for its Florida Realtors Hometown Hero Housing Program campaign, which generated public awareness and legislative support for $100 million in funding for affordable housing for frontline workers in 2022.

The campaign earned the Golden Image Award and Judges Award. Program success led to more than 6,700 Florida families purchasing a new home in its first year.

“We are driven to make a meaningful impact for our clients, whose missions are changing the world,” Sachs Media President and CEO Michelle Ubben said. “These awards are a testament to our team’s passion, dedication and commitment to excellence.”

The FPRA Golden Image Awards are presented annually to recognize outstanding public relations work in Florida and to promote the industry throughout the state. The awards are a standard of excellence in Florida, with winners demonstrating exemplary innovation, planning and design.

Other honors Sachs Media took home this year include:

Award of Distinction in the Public Service category: Awarded for the firm’s work on behalf of the Early Learning Coalition of Northwest Florida’s Kickstart Success Campaign, which highlighted the critical need for child care educators to address shortages.

Award of Distinction in the Community Relations category: Awarded for the Farah & Farah’s Vote Boldly campaign incentivizing voters to cast ballots in the Midterm Elections by offering free coffee at select local coffee shops. The campaign led to nearly 2,000 ballots cast and had unprecedented engagement across the law firm’s social media platforms.

Award of Distinction in Other Campaigns category: Awarded for the Florida Kidcare Back-to-School Countdown campaign, which raised awareness for the group’s affordable health insurance plans and provided families with resources and information on how to enroll students for the upcoming 2023-24 school year.
