GrayRobinson pulls down 7 figures in lobbying compensation during Q4 of 2014

GrayRobinson is one of the largest commercial law firms in Florida. The firm’s government affairs team represents clients in a broad range of industries such as defense, transportation, and healthcare, as well as regulated industries like gaming and alcohol.

In the final quarter of 2014, the firm had a roster of 15 legislative lobbyists and 17 executive lobbyists.

Among them, the firm posted $1,115,923 in maximum legislative earnings and $909,922 in maximum executive lobbying earnings — bringing the total to as much as $2,025,845, according to recently released lobbying compensation reports. They represented an eclectic slate of 113 executive and 113 legislative clients.

Gunster’s biggest checks in Q4 2014 came from gaming company Scientific Games International,  providing a maximum of $39,999 in executive advocacy fees.

Beyond those firms, a diverse group of businesses delivered GrayRobinson up to $29,999 each for executive services: Nonprofit Insurance Services; Millennium Laboratories; and Aquafiber Technologies Corporation, a clean-tech company.

The top-paying legislative clients who retained Gunster’s services were Nonprofit Insurance Services and Automated Health Systems, which paid up to $29,999 each.
