America’s leading public relations trade association honored Sachs Media Group’s Zoe Linafelt on Wednesday as one of its “PR Champions.”
Presented by the PR Council, the annual award recognizes the industry’s top 26 young professionals for their hard work, dedication, and merit in the field of public relations. The group chooses nominees who also provide inspiration to other PR professionals through a passion for the craft.
Linafelt, a senior account executive, has been a full-time member of SMG since January 2011.
“We are so fortunate to have Zoe as a member of our work family,” said SMG President Ron Sachs. “She has proven time and again to be an outstanding communications professional, bringing both expertise and enthusiasm to each facet of the firm.”
Celebrating its 20th year, SMG now has offices in Tallahassee, Orlando, Boca Raton and Washington, D.C.
In five years at SMG, Linafelt has been a project coordinator, video producer and event planner in a broad range of topics including branding and marketing, children’s issues, agriculture, health care, and finance. Linafelt is also active in the Capital Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association, now as Programs Committee Chair.
“It’s a tremendous honor to receive this national award and be included in a group of such extraordinary young men and women,” Linafelt said in a prepared statement. “I’m so grateful to my Sachs Media family for supporting me as a young professional as I continue to grow in confidence and experience.”
The PR Council represents global, mid-size, regional and specialty firms across every discipline and practice area.
