Audrey Gibson has quiet fundraising month in August

jacksonville - gorgeous

No need for state Sen. Audrey Gibson to worry. The Jacksonville Democrat has no competition as of yet.

Thus her quiet fundraising of late, including in August, likely is of little import.

Gibson raised $1,500 in August: $500 from AGL Resources Florida City Gas, based in Atlanta, and $1,000 from Anheuser Busch.

Gibson has raised, in total, slightly more than $68,000 since February 2013.

The pattern of contributions is interesting. On one hand, there’s a lot of institutional capital with $500 and $1,000 donations from a panoply of  PACs and business groups.

On the other hand, some interesting small denomination individual donations. Stacks of $40 donations, and $42 donations, abound in her cumulative fundraising report.
