HD 19 Leslie Dougher has lackluster September fundraising
Leslie Dougher is running again.

Leslie-Dougher

In the House District 19 race, the third month of fundraising was the worst yet for former RPOF Chairwoman Leslie Dougher, as she failed to breach $2,000 in her competitive three way race with Bobby Payne and Katherine Van Zant.

The $1,852 raised during September took her to $34,625. Having spent $6,607, she has $28,000 on hand.

Two notable names populate her donors list: garbage contractor Advanced Disposal, which maxed out, and Hans Tanzler III, the grandson of Consolidated Jacksonville’s first mayor, who gave $500.

Dougher trails both Payne, who has raised more than $41,000 through September, and both trail Van Zant, wife of termed-out Charles Van Zant, with more than  $61,000 on hand, and September numbers yet to come in.
