Bridges of America marks its 35th anniversary with a silent auction and celebration dinner this Saturday evening in Orlando.

The auction starts at 5 p.m. and the event begins 7 p.m. at the Rosen Centre Hotel‘s ballroom.

Bridges of America is “the largest substance abuse, behavioral health and re-entry provider for the criminal justice community” in Florida, according to the group’s news release.

A history of the organization is here.

“We provide a continuum of therapeutic care to people who are currently incarcerated, or in transition from incarceration, as well as those who are struggling with addiction, mental illness and/or criminal behavior,” the news release says.

“This year, Bridges of America’s goal is to implement additional services through our community outreach programs so we can help to break this cycle and greater enhance the lives of the men and women we serve.”
