HD 12 hopeful Richard Clark raised no money in October

House District 12 candidates Richard Clark and Don Redman have some things in common.

Both are Republican. Both have been on Jacksonville’s City Council. And neither raised any money in October, even as speculation continues about the imminent entry into that race by Clay Yarborough.

Clark has raised just $2,000 since April, and all of that was in September, when he got two $1,000 checks from companies well outside the district: Clear Channel Outdoor and Reed Elseveir, a publishing company.

Clark is still spending money though: $2,000 in the last two months to Data Targeting, which is a clear indication that he’s still serious about being in this race.

He has spent $4,000 since July with that company, which is, by far, his most significant campaign expense.

Despite the fundraising inactivity, he still has a little more than $46,000 on hand.
