Elizabeth Porter nears $20K raised in HD 10 reelection bid

After some months of torpid fundraising in her HD 10 reelection bid, Elizabeth Porter has added to her war chest in October.

$9,365 raised, the best month for her by far, brings her total up to $19,765.

Building a Better Florida, chaired by Michael Corcoran, and ABC of Florida both maxed out for Porter, seemingly in response to her getting a general election challenger.

Her $500 club, meanwhile, includes Independent Funeral Directors and Houghton Mifflin Harcourt.

Expenditures, totaling $2,575, include $2,000 to Front Line Strategies and $500 to Imperial Productions of Lake City for Charity Ball tickets.

If you see the Democrat in this race, Rick Schutte, at that charity ball, it won’t be out of his campaign funds.

He has yet to raise any money.

The Live Oak Democrat hasn’t raised any money, but has spent $37, though it’s unclear what that money went on.
