Predictably enough, the Ron DeSantis press shop was the first Florida Senatorial campaign to message in response to President Barack Obama‘s Sunday night speech.

DeSantis takes a simple position: that Jihad is on the March, and Obama has no plan to stop it.

“President Obama’s speech tonight demonstrates one troubling reality: the Islamic State specifically, and the global jihad generally, will continue to be on the march until we inaugurate a new Commander-in-Chief,” DeSantis said, adding that Obama’s “strategy has failed and the American people will remain at risk as a result of his failure.”
