Poll: Donald Trump leads in Florida by a wide margin

Donald Trump has a 12-point lead over Ted Cruz in Florida, according to a post-debate survey conducted for FOX 35 in Orlando.

The survey found Trump is in the lead with 31 percent, while Cruz is at 19 percent in the Sunshine State. Jeb Bush is in third with 13 percent, followed by Marco Rubio at 12 percent. Ben Carson rounds out the Top 5, with 7 percent.

The poll surveyed 838 likely Florida primary voters and was conducted on Jan. 17 by phone and mobile. The survey, according to the FOX 35 report, has a margin of error of 3.3 percent.

Matt Towery, the FOX 13 pollster and founder of InsiderAdvantage, told the station that the polls show deep support for Trump.
