The state’s appropriations process is expected begin next week.

Budget subcommittees will meet Jan. 28 to review their portions of the budget, with the complete draft budget scheduled to be published on Jan. 29, reported Tia Mitchell with The Florida Times-Union.

The full committee is set to vote on the budget Feb. 3, before a floor debate on Feb. 10 and 11, according to The Florida Times-Union.

In an email Wednesday, Senate spokeswoman Katie Betta said the Senate is on a similar timeline. Subcommittees will meet next week, with the full appropriations committee expected to take up the budget during the fourth week of session. Betta said the Senate spending plan will be taken up by the full Senate during the fifth week of session.
