Former Florida governor and GOP presidential candidate Jeb Bush will be the featured speaker at the Seminole County Republicans’ Reagan Lincoln Dinner four days before the Florida presidential primary in March.
Bush is scheduled to speak to Seminole Republicans at the March 11 annual fundraising dinner at the Westin-Lake Mary resort in Lake Mary.
The Seminole Republican Executive Committee announced Wednesday that the tickets are going on sale through EventBrite.com. Tickets start at $150 and run as high as $2,500 for a VIP table sponsor.
Bush’s prospects for arriving at the dinner still as a candidate for president may rest in part on his performance in next week’s New Hampshire primary. Florida’s 43rd governor finished sixth among Republicans in Monday’s Iowa caucuses, drawing 3 percent of the caucus vote and picking up one delegate. There are another 24 state caucuses or primaries, plus Puerto Rico, between now and March 11.
