Right to Rise, the leadership PAC created by Jeb Bush last month that enables him to begin to raise money for an eventual presidential bid, has a released a new web ad this morning called, “Leadership,” which attacks Barack Obama as being weak on foreign policy.
The first 30 seconds of the ad features news clips of a world out of control: The rise of ISIS, the threat of a nuclear Iran, the crumbling U.S.-Israel relationship, and Russian expansionism going unchecked all come flickering across the screen.
The solution? Jeb Bush.
The ad then cuts to Bush’s foreign policy speech in Chicago last week.
“Everywhere you look, you see the world slipping out of control,” Bush begins. “We have lost the trust and confidence in our friends. We definitely no longer inspire fear in our enemies.”
In many ways it’s reminiscent of Ronald Reagan’s type of speeches he gave when running against Jimmy Carter back in 1980. Watch below:
