Todd Wilcox is growing his team.

The Republican U.S. Senate hopeful announced Tuesday that two more people — Carol Craig and Robert H. Gidel Sr. — have joined his finance committee.

“As momentum for our campaign continues to grow, I am honored to have the support of great Floridians like Carol and Robert,” he said in a statement Tuesday morning. “The work our Finance Committee is doing allows us to share our message with conservative Republicans across the state.”

Craig is the founder and CEO of Craig Technologies in Cape Canaveral. Craig served as an active duty P-3C Orion Naval Flight Officer, specializing in anti-surface and sub-surface warfare. She currently serves as a member of the U.S. Commerce Secretary’s manufacturing committee and is the Enterprise Florida executive committee military business unite liaison. She serves on the National Space Club Florida Committee, Florida Chamber of Commerce and the Florida High-Tech Corridor Council.

“As a veteran and a job creator myself, I know first-hand the real world experience Todd brings to the table – experience that we are desperately lacking in Washington right now,” said Craig. “From national security to the economy, Todd is the only candidate in this race who our families and businesses can trust to make a profound impact on the lives of Floridians by putting the people’s interests first.”

Gidel is the managing partner of Liberty Partners LLC in Orlando. He is currently on the board of trustees of the Florida Virtual School, the vice chairman of the James Madison Institute, the founding past chairman of Florida Polytechnic University Board of Trustees, and past chairman of the Investment Advisory Council to the Florida State Board of Administration.

“Todd has a clearly stated mission: in order to save our Constitutional Republic, we must return to a citizen government,” said Gidel. “What we have in Todd is an opportunity to hit the reset button on the kind of people we choose to represent us and I am honored to be a part of that movement.”

Craig and Gidel join Finance Committee members J. Charles Gray, Kenneth Feld, George Livingston, J. Patrick “Rick” Michaels, Jr., Michael Munz, Peter Rummell and Ambassador Ned L. Siegel.

Wilcox faces Rep. Ron DeSantis, Rep. David Jolly, Lt. Gov. Carlos Lopez-Cantera and Carlos Beruff in the Republican race to replace Marco Rubio in the U.S. Senate. The Republican primary is Aug. 30.
