‘Finish Line’ Thursday night for Duval County Republicans

As if a Donald Trump rally weren’t enough excitement for one week, the Republican Party of Duval County has a “Finish Line” ahead of it Thursday evening.

The event will be held at the Jacksonville Automobile and Motorcycle Museum on Arlington Expressway, and the Duval GOP proclaims a synergy, as the “racing theme not only ties into the race to the August primary and Donald Trump’s famous NASCAR endorsement, but into the venue itself.”

“GOP dignitaries, elected officials and NASCAR racing driver Scott Lagasse Jr. will be on hand to welcome the crowds,” the email from the local Republicans asserts.

The event will be one full of food, folks, and fun. On the agenda are “a straw poll, live music, a buffet and candidate meet-and-greet.” Tickets are $15 and $50 (VIP) and can be purchased at Eventbrite.

Results of the straw poll will be of interest.
