Rep. Daniel Webster has a new chief of staff.
Webster’s office announced Monday that Jaryn Emhof has been named Webster’s new chief of staff and communications director. A Florida native, Emhof most recently served as the vice president of communications for the Foundation for Education and Excellence in Action.
While Emhof has spent several years in Washington D.C., she’s no stranger to Florida. She worked as a spokeswoman for Gov. Jeb Bush and before that served as the communications director for the Florida Senate. She’s also well-known in Webster’s office. She spent seven years as a legislative assistant to Webster during his time in the Florida Senate.
She will replace Elizabeth Tyrrell as communications director.
