Tuesday marks National Voter Registration Day in Florida, Secretary of State Ken Detzner announced.
Detzner released the 2016 edition of the state’s Voter Education Toolkit “to make sure that voters have the resources they need and to encourage 100 percent voter participation in Florida,” he said.
This year’s toolkit, available at YourVoteFlorida.com, now includes:
— “Quick Facts” about the General Election for voters.
— An infographic depicting the timeline of key upcoming election dates and deadlines.
— Logos and social media banners using the department’s branded “Get Ready, Get Set, Vote!” voter education campaign.
— Social media posts that can be adapted for an individual or organization’s use.
— A poster featuring checklists for new Florida voters and registered Florida voters.
— A rack card featuring checklists for new Florida voters and registered Florida voters.
Voters also can call the Voter Assistance Hotline at 1 (866) 308-6739 or contact their local Supervisor of Elections office.
