A compilation of Thanksgiving message from Florida’s elected officials and politicians.
U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio:
Lieutenant Governor Carlos Lopez-Cantera:
CFO Jeff Atwater:
As we prepare to celebrate Thanksgiving, we are reminded of our many blessings — family and friends, health and happiness, success and the sacrifices made on our behalf by the dedicated members of our armed forces.
I am thankful each and every day for the veterans and active duty military who work to secure and preserve the freedoms that we know as Americans. Many of them, along with our first responders, won’t be joining their families at the dinner table tomorrow. They will be miles away from home and miles away from the memories their loved ones will be making — all in the name of service and the protection of others.
I am forever grateful for Florida’s unmatched landscapes and natural resources, and for the opportunity to live, work, and represent a state as culturally-rich and diverse as Florida. It’s been a privilege and one of the greatest honors of a lifetime.
U.S. Rep. Ted Deutch:
As we gather together during this holiday, I hope you will join me in reflecting upon the importance of our family, friends, and the community we are a part of.
Since Election Day, I have been reflecting on how grateful I am for the opportunity to continue to represent you in Congress. I am truly thankful that during this tumultuous time in our country I am fortunate to represent a community that understands the strength in diversity and the power in working together.
In my congressional district, I see vibrant businesses and universities focusing on innovation and technology. I see constituents from elementary school students to successful business leaders working to address climate change and the many problems affecting our environment. I see our community organizations creating programs to support the members of our military and our veterans. And I see politicians, my friends and colleagues from both sides of the aisle, engaging in productive and civil conversations about how to make our government work better.
Please accept my sincerest thanks for being a part of this special community and for being my partner in trying to move our country forward. I am so honored to do this important work, and I certainly couldn’t do it without you. Words cannot express my gratitude for your tireless efforts in support of my campaign and for once again granting me this incredible opportunity to serve in the U.S. House of Representatives.
From my family to yours, best wishes for a joyous and meaningful Thanksgiving.
U.S. Rep. Gwen Graham:
This Thanksgiving, in the midst of national and personal transition, I am particularly aware of how much I have to be thankful for, past, present and future — and I wanted to share some of those blessings with you, today.
I am thankful for my wonderful family that is the foundation of my life. I am thankful for my husband who will beat cancer this year. I am thankful for my three kids who are a source of pride and love every day.
I am thankful for the opportunity to serve the people of North Florida in Congress. It is such an honor to wake up every day and work hard on your behalf.
And, I am thankful for the many opportunities that lie ahead. The future holds great things for all us.
I hope you’re able to gather with family, friends and loved ones this Thanksgiving and appreciate all we have to be grateful for — individually and together as a nation.
Happy Thanksgiving!
U.S. Rep. Dan Webster:

There is so much to be thankful for and I certainly am so thankful for your help and support during the campaign and electing me as your District 13 Senator. On Tuesday, November 22nd I was sworn into the Senate in Tallahassee. I’m looking forward to taking all of our issues to the Senate and speaking up for what is important to all of us.
During the campaign, many people contacted me and informed me of their issues and concerns, so if you have any, please email me and I would be happy to look into them. I look forward to serving you as your Senator and I wish you and yours a very Happy and Healthy Thanksgiving!

Rep. Paul Renner, via Twitter:
On #Thanksgiving, I am most grateful for my faith, freedom, and family….and, of course, Thanksgiving weekend football!
Rep. Sean Shaw:
I hope that this holiday season finds you and your family in good health and spirit. My family has always celebrated Thanksgiving by taking a moment to reflect on all of the ways we had been blessed throughout the year. Each blessing, whether big or small, played a role in who I am today, and for that I am thankful.
As our families gather, and we look around us, let us remember that not everyone may be as fortunate, or have access to as many opportunities. That’s why I believe in giving back to the community that has given so much to me. I was honored to participate in the Great American Teach-In just last week, on November 17th. To me, mentoring is one of the best ways to return to others the many kindnesses that have been shown to me.
I wish each of you a blessed holiday!
Rep. Chris Sprowls:
Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer:
As Mayor of the City of Orlando, I have so much to be thankful for.
I am grateful for our active and engaged residents, heroic first responders, our dedicated City staff and compassionate non-profit organizations and businesses. I am especially thankful that our community is united.
I hope that you enjoy a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and friends!
The Florida Chamber of Commerce:
Pinellas GOP Chairman Nick DiCeglie:
