Sarah Bascom continues to cement her reputation for advising top legislative leaders.

The veteran PR maven has quietly signed Sen. Bill Galvano and the Florida Republican Senatorial Committee as clients for her firm, Bascom Communications and Consulting.

Galvano, a Bradenton Republican, will be named Senate President after Joe Negron, assuming Republicans hold their majority in the chamber.

Bascom also represented Negron when he was Senate President-designate, and was Richard Corcoran‘s spokesperson after he was selected House Speaker-designate.

Bascom served as communications director to the late Senate President Jim King; as press secretary in the Senate Majority Office; and as communications director to the Republican Party of Florida.
