The National Federation of Independent Businesses has endorsed Republican state Rep. Mike Miller in his quest to be elected to Florida’s 7th Congressional District, his campaign announced Tuesday.
In a letter to Miller, the NFIB stated, “As the voice of small business, NFIB knows that good small business policy starts with electing good small business candidates. Therefore, your election is critical to the small businesses in your district, and we look forward to working with you on issues most important to them – healthcare, regulations, and taxes.”
Miller is taking on Democratic U.S. Rep. Stephanie Murphy in CD 7, representing Seminole County and much of north and Central Orange County.
“I am proud to have NFIB’s endorsement of my campaign,” Miller said in a news release issued by his campaign. “Central Florida is home to countless successful small businesses and hardworking employers. In Washington, I will work to keep overreaching government regulation out of their business and continue the economic prosperity brought on by recent tax reform.”
