Poll finds Joe Biden surging, appetite for impeachment waning
Frontrunner: Joe Biden is now the man to beat for the Democratic 2020 presidential nomination.

Joe Biden
Survey asked Democratic voters in Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina.

A new poll from a Republican outlet shows former Vice President Joe Biden surging among early primary state Democrats. The same data shows an appetite for impeaching President Donald Trump no longer dominating in pivotal New Hampshire.

Survey results released by FireHouse Strategies and 0ptimus shows former Vice President Joe Biden with healthy leads in three states.

“Dem primary voters may be very liberal/socialist, but [they’re] going to vote with their brains & not their hearts,” Firehouse’s Alex Conant said in a statement to Axios.

In Iowa, Biden leads the field with 35 percent support to Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders’ 14 percent. In New Hampshire, Biden gets 34 percent to Sanders’ 16 percent. In South Carolina, he leads with a whopping 48 percent to Sanders 12 percent.

In all three states, Biden has enjoyed a double-digit surge.

South Bend, Ind. Mayor Pete Buttigieg enjoys decent standing in all three states, coming in third place behind Sanders. Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren came in fourth place in all three states, followed by California Sen. Kamala Harris.

Former Texas Rep. Beto O’Rourke, Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar and New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker fill out the field in different orders in each state.

Biden in all three states is the only candidate to post higher levels of support than “other.”

“Biden has clearly gained support since officially declaring,” pollsters note in a release.

“Buttigieg has gained significant support, especially in Iowa and New Hampshire, while Harris has fallen behind. Additionally, Sanders has moderately improved his standing since February.”

Outside the horserace, pollsters also examined how desire exists among Democratic voters to impeach Trump.

In South Carolina, 60 percent of Democrats surveyed want impeachment proceedings, and 52 percent feel the same in Iowa.

But voters in New Hampshire feel more conflicted. Only 45 percent of voters there favor such an action.

FireHouse notes that’s a substantial dip from prior polling, pollsters said.

The House hearings, subpoenas, and related litigation, as well as the dozen or so continuing investigations of Trump’s obstruction, the emoluments case, and other ongoing TrumpNut claptrap will accomplish the same as an impeachment action in the House, i.e., keeping Trump’s skulduggery in the forefront and the public eye, without having it go before the Senate – which is Trump’s primary enabler and defender. There’s no point in having an impeachment trial in the Senate when it’s certain the Senate will not convict.

Personally, I believe it’s much more important for the Dems to keep the House and win the Senate with significant majorities than to win the presidency (unless they were to win all three). Given that, it doesn’t matter much who ends up as the Dems presidential nominee … as long as the party puts maximum effort into winning the Senate. Given that … I personally prefer the perspective and proposed policies of Elizabeth Warren.

When will you kids get over the Russia nonsense? Trump did nothing! There is nothing to base impeachment on!

Why is it so obvious to 60% of America that the Democrats have nothing to be excited about and the only game plan they have is to constantly push the “Trump broke the law” narrative! Clearly that is what is happening here. They are using this to keep what’s left of their dwindling supporters juiced up!

Meanwhile, the Trump economy is breaking record! Unemployment is breaking records! The GDP is killing it as is the stock market. These are the things adults care about! Not that nonsense the Democrats rally around, who is going into what bathroom!

My advice: Grow up! Get over it! Be happy your country is thriving for a change!

No Democrat will be taking office from Trump in 2020. Simply listen to what a lot of these candidates are saying. They are laying the groundwork for their excuses already. Everyone knows Trump is going to landslide the 2020 as he should, all the numbers adults care about are breaking records. America is seeing the best in economic times in over 50 years! Why would any ADULT want to stop that?

TOP 4 REASONS WHY THE DEM’S LOST EDGE:

Russia Collusion Hoax Debunked: Democrats were very much counting on Special Counsel Robert Mueller to end the Trump Nightmare for them. The Mueller Report’s exoneration of Trump was the biggest bummer since Trump won the election. Sure, the corrupt media and a handful of Democrats are still making a lot of noise, but it’s over and everyone knows it’s over.

Old White Guys: The Identity Politics Party is led by a couple of hundred-year-old white guys, former Vice President Joe Biden and Sen. Bernie Sanders (VT-I), who are running away with the primary.

Joe Biden: Handsy Uncle Joe leads the Democrat primary right now by a fairly wide margin but that doesn’t mean Democrats are excited about him. He’s old, he’s white, he’s not terribly bright, he’s not a radical leftist, and he represents the past. Sure, the party longs for a return to the Obama-Biden era, but really only the Obama part.

The Economy is Booming: The so-called experts assured and reassured Democrats that Trump colluded with Russia and that the economy was headed into recession. Neither of those proved to be true. In fact, the Mueller Report’s debunking of the Russia Collusion Hoax probably helped the economy because it removed the instability of Trump’s possible impeachment. Investors hate instability more than anything else.
