Trulieve, a well-known cannabis company in the state of Florida, has grown yet again on Friday by opening its second dispensary in the Orlando area.
The new Orlando location marks Trulieve’s 29th storefront in Florida.
“We’re excited to expand our reach in the Central Florida area and further ensure consistent, safe, and reliable patient access. Opening a second store in a market like Orlando, where a large portion of patients are concentrated, was important to us as we work to ensure patients continue to have direct, safe access to the medication they rely on,” said Trulieve CEO Kim Rivers in a news release.
The expansion is part of a fast-rising era for cannabis business owners where regulations and compliance are being brought into the spotlight.
Trulieve is committed to growing and adapting with legislation. They assert “consistent, reliable, and safe access to relief” for customers in the areas they serve. But that’s not their only cause.
In June, Florida Politics reported on the relationship between Trulieve and Equality Florida when Trulieve announced a portion of proceeds from Trulieve’s “Rainbow” TruPODs, rainbow-colored “TruSTIK” vaporizer pens, and other Pride merch would go to Equality Florida.
Trulieve, a trailblazer, is the first fully licensed medical cannabis company in Florida. The company is a “seed to sale” company that “cultivates and produces all of its products in-house and distributes those products to Trulieve-branded stores.”
According to Bloomberg, Trulieve “produces approximately 170 stock keeping units, including smokable flowers, flower pods for vaporizing, concentrates, topicals, capsules, tinctures, and vape cartridges.”
The company aspires for much growth and anticipates as many as 49 stores by 2020. As the cannabis industry becomes more and more prominent in Florida, it remains to be seen the reach companies like Trulieve could have on the economy.
The new storefront in Orlando is at 9521 South Orange Blossom Trail #107.

If you really want to do good try donating some of the proceeds of this miracle medicine to people with disabilities , low income and don’t forget the vets . I believe their are around 15 other states that have organizations who supply about 250-300 worth of free medicine. Why not have trulieve be the first . Remember this is a compassion MEDICINE ! I personally could use some compassion , I am a card carrying customer of yours but times are hard and the medicine is to expensive after paying for a prescription .

It is a compassion medicine and in the State of Florida the prices are higher than any recreational that I have seen in other states. I am one of these vets that live on a low income and I use this medicine in place of many other medicines which were once paid from me but now I am stuck putting out the money for my medication and know I’m happy that this medication does me a world of good. At least cannabis is safe and effective and does not harm me in any way

I think in my opinion is that many people are getting real rich in the current situation of medical marijuana and us who advocate for Veterans who are disabled or just trying to kick an big Pharm medicine and are finding that marijuana works cannot even get flower. And the price is way above the product levels of supposedly medical grade. I can only say FREE THE FLOWER let me grow my own. This is my Gods weed. It should be free to us who chose to grow our own. The weed game is getting the rich richer.
