Adam Hattersley racked up another trove of endorsements in his bid for Florida’s 15th Congressional District.
Announced Thursday, the latest list includes both Tampa Bay area local leaders as well as several state Representatives who currently serve with Hattersley in the Legislature.
Hattersley is running for the Democratic nomination to challenge incumbent Republican U.S. Rep. Ross Spano. He faces former television news anchor Alan Cohn in the primary.
“I’m honored to have such widespread support from my friends in the State House and throughout the Tampa Bay Area. I’m running for Congress because we’re in desperate need of public servants who will serve with honor and integrity,” Hattersley said. “As a veteran, small business owner and engineer, I’m ready to lead the way and put country before party. We’re building a grassroots campaign, and together, we’ll replace self-serving career politicians like Ross Spano.”
