CES 2023: AirBolt unleashes world’s most advanced GPS tracker

If you use it, you won’t lose it.

AirBolt is using CES to unleash the latest addition to its lineup of its high-tech GPS trackers.

The AirBolt GPS tracker is described by the company as “smart access live asset tracker.” The jargon-free description: It’s like an AirTag or Tile, but on steroids.

Whereas those products rely on local Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connections to triangulate their approximate coordinates, AirBolt’s tracker has full GPS capabilities built in alongside the ability to tap into cellular networks.

Essentially, if a satellite has line-of-sight or a cellphone would have a bar of reception, the location of the AirBolt GPS tracker can be viewed with pinpoint precision.

AirBolt says the device can be used for a variety of things including people, possessions, pets and more. According to the company, about $47 billion worth of items are lost each year and most people spend nearly a year of their lifetime looking for misplaced or lost items.

At $139 — or slightly less if bought in a multipack — the AirBolt GPS tracker can ensure prized possessions aren’t lost and purrfect companions don’t prance off.

“We design our products with our customers in mind and have created an eco-system where our products interact with each other to enhance their capabilities. Our next generation GPS is an example of such an innovation. It is not only packed with World First features but also can talk to our Travel Lock and report updates live,” AirBolt CEO Kabir Sidhu said.

The AirBolt GPS tracker fully integrates with the company’s other items such as the AirBolt Lock, which has staked out a reputation as the baggage lock of choice for frequent travelers. AirBolt also produces the AirBolt Card — a Bluetooth-based tracker in a credit card form factor.

“AirBolt pioneered the smart access and live asset tracking category. With a global asset tracking market estimated at $55.1 billion by 2026, AirBolt is at the forefront of a rapidly expanding consumer and enterprise tracking market,” said Jeff Pouliot, AirBolt’s head of partnerships.

Pouliot and other AirBolt executives will be on hand at CES to show off the new tracker. Attendees interested in scheduling a meeting may do so on AirBolt’s CES meeting request page.
