Law enforcement officials tell The Associated Press that bomb-making materials were found inside the vehicle of the man suspected in the Donald Trump rally shooting. There were also bomb-making materials found at his home.
The two officials were not authorized to speak publicly and spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity.
The Wall Street Journal is also reporting on the explosive devices found in the shooter’s vehicle which was parked near the rally that was held in Butler, Pennsylvania. The gunman’s home was in a nearby town in Pennsylvania. Former President Trump was speaking to a large open-air rally before thousands of supporters about 6:15 p.m. Saturday when Trump reached his right hand to his right ear as gunshots rang out.
Trump himself was injured as his ear began to bleed and he voluntarily dropped behind a podium. U.S. Secret Service agents immediately surrounded the president and formed a human shield as they ushered him off the stage and whisked him into a sport utility vehicle.
Meanwhile, one spectator at the rally was killed by gun fire and two other attendees were severely injured. There’s already been a GoFundMe account established to help those victims and that page was started by a Floridian.
Secret service agents shot and killed the gunman who was perched on top of a building about 150 yards from the rally stage.
The shooter has been identified as 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks. Little is known about Crooks, though he was a registered Republican and officials say he recently donated $15 to a Democratic Party cause.

You can never trust official reports of “bomb-making materialsl” unless accompanied by details that are extremely rare.
Ignorance and hysteria from public officials, and self-serving inaccurate inflatiom by law enforcemenr and prosecutors almost always rule the day.

Right? Gasoline is a bomb making material and it’s found is most cars. Wiring is a bomb material and it’s found in ALL cars. Lithium-ion batteries are bomb making material and are found in all electric cars. Screws and bolts and glass are bomb making materials………

It’s the same old story. Bullied kid gets his hand on mom and dad’s AR15, goes on a shooting rampage.
Nobody can figure out this kid’s political motivation because it was not a political shooting. It was not an assassination attempt. It was a routine mass shooting except that this bully that got shot at is in a position to do something to fix the USA’s mass shooing issue.
