Email Insights: Rick Perry coming to Jacksonville Tuesday for Lenny Curry

We’ve written before about Texas Governor Rick Perry‘s support for Jacksonville Mayoral Candidate Lenny Curry.

Perry, in endorsing Curry in January, said that “in Texas, and as I travel the United States, I meet people who understand what it takes to transform communities and bring more opportunity for economic growth. By electing Lenny Curry, Jacksonville can have exactly that type of transformational leader in City Hall.”

With Early Voting now underway in Jacksonville, Perry is doubling down on his support. He will be the featured guest at a St. Patrick’s Day Early Voting Rally at the River City Brewing Company.

The rally will take place from 4-6PM on Tuesday, March 17.

In the email, Curry said that “Governor Perry honored me with his endorsement earlier this year, and he has been very supportive throughout this campaign process. I am excited to have him in town to help spread our message and get people out to vote!”

Those who attend this rally will be able to register for a raffle to win a ticket to the second Mayoral Debate on March 18th.
