Video and/or audio trackers are everywhere on the campaign trail in the Florida Senate race. They’re there to capture everything a candidate says, especially if they commit a faux pas of some sort.
Or, in the case of a new ad produced for the web for the Patrick Murphy campaign, it’s capturing Democratic Senate opponent Alan Grayson saying contradictory things on the campaign trail.
The ad shows Grayson extolling the virtues of home ownership in while speaking at the Florida Realtors Conference in Orlando in August, and they saying a month later to a Democratic women’s group in Cocoa Beach, “The American dream is not the ability to buy a home, despite what the National Association of Realtors would like for you to believe in another setting.”
Florida Politics neglected to contact the Grayson campaign for reaction until late on Wednesday. Spokesman Kevin Franck simply responded with a photo of a glass of tea, entitled, “weak tea.”
