A new ad featuring South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott is hitting the airwaves in the Palmetto State.
Marco Rubio released a new advertisement — called “Trust” — that will begin airing in South Carolina today. The 30-second spot features Scott explaining why he thinks Rubio will be able to unite the Republican Party.
“It’s a long way from where I grew up to the United States Senate. But here in America, all things are possible. That’s why I support Marco Rubio,” he says in the advertisement. “Marco Rubio understands that here in America, it’s not about where you start, it’s about where you’re going.”
Scott continues by saying Rubio is “the conservative I trust to inspire our country, unite our party and win in November.”
Scott endorsed Rubio on Tuesday. The South Carolina Republican primary is Feb. 20.
