By the end of Thursday night, Congressional District 4 will have chosen its GOP convention delegates who will be on the “road to Cleveland.”

The RPOF’s 4th CD caucus will elect three delegates and three alternates to the national convention. Doug Adkins, Nassau County state committeeman, will chair the event.

“Canapes and a cash bar” will greet attendees of the event, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel at the Jacksonville airport, from 6 to 7 p.m. At 7, the voting starts.

Cellphones are prohibited from the event, so no worries about verboten recordings. Also not in attendance: members of the media.

As was the case elsewhere in Florida, Donald Trump was the runaway winner in CD 4. Still, questions have been raised about his organization in Florida in recent days. Among those questions are whether Trump’s Florida organization is well-positioned for the delegate selection process.
