Tommy Hazouri to speak at Jax Beaches Dems meeting

Tommy Hazouri

Given that he’s the most popular Democrat in town, it’s no surprise that the Jacksonville Beaches Democratic Club is touting the appearance of former Jacksonville Mayor and At-Large Jacksonville City Councilman Tommy Hazouri at their upcoming meeting.

Hazouri “will give an update on important city issues and local environmentalists will review recent Earth Day events” at the confab, scheduled for Tuesday, April 19, at the Neptune Beach Activity Center.

Before the Dems get down to business, they’ll first feast on a chicken wings dinner (“left wings only,” according to the cheeky news release). The wings dinner is a GOTV fundraiser for upcoming elections.

According to president Billie Bussard, “an extra large attendance is expected for this meeting with invitations recently sent by the club to some 350 newly registered Democrats in voting District 13, which includes the Beaches and part of the Intracoastal West Communities.”
