Last week, Let’s Get To Work, Gov. Rick Scott‘s PAC, released an ad calling a profane critic he encountered at a Gainesville Starbucks a “latte liberal.”

Former Lake Worth City Commissioner and self-professed “anarchist” Cara Jennings dressed him down in a separate video that went viral, as our Jim Rosica reported.

“You’re an a**hole. You don’t care about working people,” she shouted. “You should be ashamed to show your face around here.”

In Jacksonville, Scott disclaimed responsibility, saying Let’s Get To Work put out the ad to “set the record straight.”

When asked if the ad unnecessarily elevated Jennings’ criticism by responding to it, Scott again punted, saying an interested reporter would “have to talk to the PAC.”
