Lenny Curry PAC mailer links Alvin Brown to "job-killing Obamacare"

Days before Jacksonville begins early voting, Together for a Greater Jacksonville has sent out another mailer attacking “Democrat Mayor” Alvin Brown.

It contends that “Democrat Mayor Alvin Brown pushed for job-killing Obamacare while taking advantage of ‘platinum’ taxpayer-paid” insurance, and that Brown “broke his promise to not take a pension … when he promised to cut his salary and to refuse a pension.”

The mailer also repeats claims familiar to Republicans and Independents who have received such mail before, charging the Brown with taking “lavish trips on taxpayer dime” and having “proposed nearly 1/4 of a Billion in increased waste!!!”

The mailer includes a picture of the mayor with “liberal Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius” and concludes with the declaration that “it’s clear: we can’t trust Democrat Alvin Brown to keep his word.”

The mailer hit mailboxes Wednesday, the same day the Brown campaign charged the Curry side with running “the most negative campaign in Jacksonville history.”
