Osceola County Chairwoman Viviana Janer has endorsed Democrat Susannah Randolph‘s campaign in Florida’s 9th Congressional District, Randolph’s campaign announced Monday.
“Susannah has a proven track record of working within Osceola County to help give families, particularly those in the Hispanic and other minority communities, their best shot at success,” Janer stated in a news release issued by Randolph’s campaign. “She has spent years advocating for those without a voice and inspiring others to create change in their community.”
CD 9 includes all of Osceola County, as well as south-central Orange County and east Polk County.
Randolph is in a four-way Aug. 30 primary for the Democratic nomination for the district, with state Sen. Darren Soto, Dena Grayson and Valleri Crabtree. The Republican primary has Wayne Liebnitzky and Wanda Rentas.
“Commissioner Janer is an incredibly inspiring person, and I am humbled to have earned her endorsement. Since her election, we have worked side-by-side on a variety of issues aimed at improving the day-to-day lives of hardworking Central Floridians,” said Randolph.
