Has the cavalry finally arrived for 4th Circuit State Attorney candidate Wes White?

A political committee, “Vets and Families for Truth,” got $50,000 from a single source — HEH MAC, LLC, a company whose officer is a cosmetic doctor named Hale Hedley.

Most of that money has already been spent on an ad that recycles claims made previously on an attack website against Nelson that she was responsible for the Mayport Monster not getting executed and killing another man in prison.

Hale Hedley and Hugh Hedley were both early maximum contribution backers of White, and the $50,000 donation is allowing White to counter-message Nelson’s push since late June.

Omitted from the ad is Angela Corey, the incumbent, who would seem to be the logical target of an attack ad, given that White’s original purpose for getting in the state attorney race was to unseat Corey.

White is featuring the ad on his Facebook page.
