Hans Tanzler makes closing argument in biographical ad

It’s “closing argument” time in the race in Florida’s 4th Congressional District, and to that end Hans Tanzler released a biographical ad Monday in which he describes himself as “conservative,” “tough,” and “ready to lead.”

The spot, called “Harry,” traces “Tanzler’s biography as a federal prosecutor and highlights his endorsement from the former CIA director of counterterrorism,” asserts a release from the Tanzler campaign.

“I’m a first-time candidate, but I am not new to fighting for America’s best interests,” said Tanzler. “My career has prepared me to tackle the most pressing issues confronting us, including the harmful effects of federal overreach on our small business owners and our ongoing struggle against Islamic extremist terrorism.”

The ad represents a break from the attack ads put out by committees in this race. Pro-Rutherford ads have described Tanzler as a “liberal insider.” And pro-Tanzler ads have built the case against “Liberal John Rutherford.”
