Donna Shalala joining Hillary Clinton, others for Joe Biden fundraiser

Shalala
The virtual fundraiser is set for Thursday at 7 p.m.

Hillary Clinton is headlining a fundraiser for Democratic presidential contender Joe Biden alongside U.S. Rep. Donna Shalala.

The event gives Shalala second billing after Clinton, with California Lt. Gov. Eleni Kounalakis also being listed as a “special guest.”

Shalala was elected to represent Florida’s 27th Congressional District in 2018. She is a former president of the University of Miami. Prior to that, she led the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services under then-President Bill Clinton.

The fundraiser, billed as a “conversation,” is set for Thursday at 7 p.m. and will be held virtually. Those looking to attend must RSVP online, after which video call details will be provided.

More information on the event is available by emailing Stephanie Sass at [email protected], the fundraiser invitation states.
