Jacksonville At Large City Council Group 1 candidate Anna Brosche has been collecting endorsements for the past few weeks, and another one just came in from watchdog group the Concerned Taxpayers of Duval County.
“I am grateful for the support of the Concerned Taxpayers of Duval County. I believe my 20 years of accounting, auditing, and business management experience uniquely qualify me to serve on the council as we tackle the city’s budget and work to protect hard-earned taxpayer dollars,” Brosche said.
Brosche seeks to unseat Councilwoman Kim Daniels.
The Concerned Taxpayers of Duval County’s mission, according to the press release, is to “prevent, identify, and publicize all forms of fiscal waste, extravagance, and imprudence within and by the government which impacts residents of Duval County, Florida, and to promote government in the Sunshine by preventing abuses of laws granting the public access to documents and by enforcing your right to attend and speak at public meetings.”
Brosche adds this endorsement to a long list, including these mentioned in the news release: “University of North Florida President and former Jacksonville Mayor John Delaney, JAXBIZ, Northeast Florida Builders Association, the Florida First Coast Chapter of the Associated Builders and Contractors, NAIOP of Northeast Florida, Northeast Florida Association of Realtors, First Coast Manufacturers Association, Filipino-American Community Council of Northeast Florida, and the North Florida Central Labor Council and affiliates.”
