Rick Scott taps two Beaches residents for JTA

NJ Gov Christie Appears At Campaign Stop For Fl Gov Rick Scott

On Friday, Governor Rick Scott reappointed Jacksonville Beach’s Scott McCaleb to the Jacksonville Transportation Authority, while appointing Neptune Beach’s Lillie “Denise” Wallace for the first time.

McCaleb, the former chairman of the Gator Bowl Association, currently holds seats on the UNF Foundation Board and Board of Directors of Jax Chamber. Originally appointed by Scott in 2012, McCaleb currently chairs the JTA Board.

Wallace, a member in good standing of the Duval County Value Adjustment Board, once chaired the Jacksonville Housing Finance Authority. She will succeed Ed Burr for a four year term.

Both terms are set to expire May 2019.
