Hillary Clinton

The Hillary Clinton campaign will bring some extra star power to Jacksonville Wednesday, with former President Bill Clinton slated to be on hand at the opening of her campaign office.

The office will be located at 2115 University Blvd. S. on Jacksonville’s Southside. The event has a scheduled start of 2:30 p.m.

The event will be closed to media; however, FloridaPolitics.com will speak to someone from the Clinton campaign about how the event went and what was said.

Duval County has gone Republican in recent elections, with President Obama losing the county narrowly in both 2008 and 2012.

The narrow margin of those losses suggests Duval County is in play, a perception augmented by a lot of Hillary Clinton ads on local television in recent weeks.
